We understand that going to a new church can be intimidating and a little scarry.

We want to help you calm those nerves a bit so here's what you can expect inside our church...

Which service will I feel more comfortable?

8:30 Service

"Simply Traditional Worship"uses United Methodist liturgy and order to create a worship experience rich in history, warmth, awe and intimacy.  This service is free of amplified sound and multi-media and is full of congregational singing, call and response readings, and organ/pianist accompaniment lasting approximately 40 minutes.  This service focuses on the Bible and is primarily intended for those who find comfort in the simple,     long-standing traditions of the faith.

10:55 Service

"Technically Traditional Worship", much like the Simply Traditional Worship but with a full Chancel Choir, children's time, amplified sounds and multi-media.  While this service also focuses on the Bible, you'll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with a modern and relevant message. This service is approximately an hour long and considered to be a more multi-generational worship.

9:15 - 10:55 "Common Grounds"

Folks gather in Wesley Hall prior to and after Sunday School to visit and enjoy coffee and fresh donuts from Jeri-Lin.  This is the perfect time to let our congregation welcome you - I promise you will leave knowing you have friends!

Here's the easiest answer!

Wear what you have. Wear what you are comfortable in.

You will find people in business casual, blue jeans, or dress...from heels to tennis shoes - you will fit in perfectly.

Every human being is a beloved child of God...no more and no less by the clothes you wear.  We are a diverse group of people that believe the person in the clothing is what matters.

Still not sure...

Worried about the service- what & when to say or sing?

We've got you covered...upon arriving you will get a bulletin for the days service.  In it you will find the order of worship with songs and song numbers, when the scripture will be read, and when to stand (when * is noted).  At the 10:55 service you have the bulletin plus everything will be projected on the wall..songs, prayer, and benediction response.
