We at First United Methodist Church (Blytheville, AR) are members of the family of God, banded together under the leadership of Jesus Christ, united in our love of Him and one another and dedicated in service to God through His people. Our history is highlighted by the commitment and ministry of an active and dedicated laity. Through them, we are able to provide a supportive and accepting fellowship; one that gives compassionately and generously to those in need; one that strives faithfully to fulfill its calling to be the body of Christ in God’s world.
If you have not yet found a church home, we invite you to worship with us, Sundays @ 8:30 or 10:55 a.m. In the meantime, for more about who we are, what we believe and how we live out our faith... READ ON!
During the school year, enjoy a delicious home-cooked Fellowship Supper from 5-6 in Wesley Hall (Adults: $5, Children 4-12: $2, Under 4: Free!). At 5:30 the kids' and youth activities begin (currently, we're beginning rehearsals for the December "Wesley Players" production!) , and from 6-6:50 (in the Parlor), the adults gather for a group study. Top it all off with choir rehearsal upstairs @ 7, and you'll have had the full Oasis experience.
